It has been 35 years since Maria left her newborn in a baby window. With the help of the authorities, she tracks down her daughter and meets Caroline for the first time. A DNA test is to prove their kinship. An increasingly close relationship develops between Maria and Caroline. However, unfulfilled expectations and quiet accusations threaten to break it time and again.

About The Author

Born in 1982, Samuel Flückiger grew up in Basel, Switzerland. After graduating in Sociology and Cinema Studies from University of Zurich, he worked as a production assistant for Zurich based Dschoint Ventschr Filmproduktion (IRAQI ODYSSEY, CHRIS THE SWISS). In 2011, he attended professional programs in producing and screenwriting at the University of California Los Angeles School of Theatre, Film, and Television. Samuel Flückiger’s award winning short films TERMINAL (2013), NIGHTLIGHT (2015) and 40 METERS (2018) screened at various renowned festivals around the world and sold to multiple broadcasters including CBC (Canada) and SRF (Switzerland).
