L’Heure Bleue by Kahina Le Querrec

End of the school year. Start of vacation. Alice steals her brother’s car to accompany Diane, her best friend, to an unknown destination. This mesmerizing coming of age film immerses us into the friendship of two young women looking to escape their reality and discover new emotional territories.

L’Heure Bleue has been selected for Paris Courts Devants, Fifib, Oldenbourg Film Festival (Best Short Film), Poitiers Film Festival and Film Jeune de Lyon.

About The Author

After a literary baccalaureate, a year of hypokhâgne and a performing arts-cinema license at the University of Paris 8, Kahina became a costume designer on feature films while continuing to write and direct. In 2018, she joined Claude Lelouch’s cinema workshops in Beaune. She directed “La Fête Noire” (6min) and a short fiction film “L’Heure Bleue”. Since the beginning of 2020 she has been developing her next short film “Contre La Nuit”.
