About The Author

Jamil McGinnis and Pat Heywood have been writing, directing, and producing partners since 2016. Their work has been featured at institutions such as Locarno, Telluride, AFI, BFI, Clermont-Ferrand, Walker Arts Center, and Film at Lincoln Center. In 2019, the pair co-founded a company called Seneca Village Pictures as a home to continue exploring the spaces between life and cinema. They were recently awarded the 2021 Rooftop Films Filmmakers Fund grant for their upcoming debut feature, titled In Search of Time.
